Before my mom died she was writing a series of vampire books so that my sister and I would be financially stable for quite some time... Before she died she kept getting rejected.


So.. I found out today... after 10 years... that my aunt Sue..


....Is getting my moms vampire book published! It could be in stores DECEMBER 26th!!!!!


I was.. pretty upset about it when she told me because I've been toying with the idea for 10 years that shes been gone whether to get it done or not. If I did, and it did well, my sister and I could be financially stable for just a bit. Just a bit! I'd have to learn to save my money fairly well but I could.. be alright for a bit. Get what I needed and a few indulgence items then let the rest just.. do what it wanted and grow then pay off my loans later.

However, I am staying pessimistic. Don't want to get over excited in case..god forbid, it doesn't do well.

Though the publisher loved the book there is a chance it could flop or only sell a couple or handful of times. It would suck but it'd be alright. My aunt did it to honor my mother, not get all the proceeds. My sister and I would be getting most of the money. It helps vampires are a big topic right now (Thank you, Twilight <3) so maybe it'll help bring that in. We'll see..

So I'm excited but pessimistic, so wish us luck AND YOU BETTER BUY A COPY D< RAWR lol

The other good thing is there's 2 books! If one does well then the second might do even better! So we'll see!


In other words I have Christmas presents picked out. Well just a few really. Hehe
